Hamlin
Piano/Owner
RaeAnn Hamlin has taught private piano lessons since 1990. She
is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica, where she received
her Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance/Pedagogy. She became a
Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) in 1999.
Currently, RaeAnn is a pianist/organist at St. Francis Xavier Church
and is working as a professional musician at weddings and special
events ('94-present).
RaeAnn is also a piano instructor in the Music Department at the
College of St. Scholastica ('98-present.)
She has been a Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) member
since 1993. RaeAnn has been President of Arrowhead Music Teachers'
Association (AMTA), Vice President of Duluth Music Teachers Association
(DMTA), and currently serves on many committees. RaeAnn is currently
on the Western Area Business & Civic Club Board.
RaeAnn changed the name of the music school to "Hamlin Music
Academy & Event Musicians" in 1999. This name defines the
Academy and the Professional Musicians who perform using the name
"Hamlin Event Musicians".
