Kate Olaf is currently a piano performance and choral music education major at the University of Wisconsin – Superior. 

Her formal piano instruction began at Hamlin Music Academy in 1996 and is presently being continued at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, where she is eeking both piano performance and choral education degrees.

Though her taste in music leans more toward that of Beethoven and Brahms, the sweet sound of reggae music is becoming more familiar to her each day. Kate is and has been involved in many music ensembles including university choirs, chamber choir groups, double quartets, four-person piano ensembles, jazz bands, symphonic bands and various other groups including Radio Hates You and Spiricom and she is the background vocalist for the group Uprising Reggae.

Kate won many piano performance awards as a Hamlin Music Academy student of RaeAnn Hamlin.  Hamlin Music Academy is happy to have Kate teach piano lessons in 2009 and beyond.
